Pewnego dnia trzech uczniów drugiego roku gimnazjum - Kazuki Yasaka, Toi Kuji i Enta Jinai - spotykają podobną do kappy istotę o imieniu Keppi (kappa - japoński demon rzeczny), który jest samozwańczym spadkobiercą tronu Królestwa Kappa. Keppi siłą odbiera shirikodamę uczniów (mityczny organ, który kappy kradną przez odbyt) i przekształca ich w kappy.
